Sloanie’s 1st Birthday!
Yesterday we celebrated the 1st Birthday of one of my Best Friend’s little girl! It’s hard to believe that she’s already a whole year old!! It seems like just the other day we were all waiting around at the hospital for her arrival! You can read about that here.
The party was at one of the parks in downtown Sanford, Park on Park. This park was actually built when I was a kid and I remember playing there way back in the day. I haven’t been there in years and it’s been totally rebuild and is so much nicer now. There’s a little Gazebo in the corner of the park which is where the main festivities of the party were held. It was so much fun- Mom, Dad, and Grannie did a fabulous job putting it together!!
Matt and I arrived early to help set up and we got put on balloon duty. There were 30 balloons to spread around and they were all tangled together, plus it was extra windy!!
The Birthday girl just hung out in her cute purple high chair during all of this commotion chowing down on some cereal. Well until it was time to get dressed in her party outfit!

The decorations were super cute and the food was delicious and of course cupcakes were delicious as always!! The Park was the perfect place to celebrate for this little Princess. The older kids had a great time playing on the playground and all the adults had a great time chatting and visiting. Success!!
